Some conditions and exceptions apply: Shipping rates are for parcels shipped to most major urban centres. Parcels shipped to rural and remote destinations may be subject to higher rates. If this is the case, the customer will be contacted.
Delivery standards are in business days for items sent between most major urban centres.
Products will be shipped within a 24 hour business day period.
LATE DELIVERIES and LOST PACKAGES: Canadian and U.S. Postal Services are about the most efficient in the world. However, occassionally, a shipment will not arrive within the 10-14 business day delivery time frame. Stop Leaky Gut cannot assume responsibility for late deliveries by the U.S.P.S. After the 14 day business delivery time frame, Canada Post will be contacted, an investigative file will be opened and a case number, assigned. Once a file has been opened with the U.S.P.S. to track a late or lost package in the U.S., the U.S.P.S. will require up to 45 days to track an Expedited parcel. If the parcel has not been located after this time frame, the parcel will be declared 'lost.' In that event, Stop Leaky Gut will reship the original order up to a maximum value of $100.00 (including together shipping and product costs) or will mail a cheque of the same value, whichever the customer prefers. Stop Leaky Gut will do everything possible to assist our valued customers in tracking their package.
CUSTOMS & DUTIES: We have endeavored to supply products that are 'custom's friendly' and have successfully shipped all items available on this site to U.S. customers. However, each country's custom's laws are different and the purchaser is solely responsible for any additional charges imposed by their Custom's Office and for determining whether import restrictions apply to any product purchased. Stop Leaky Gut, Ottawa Nutritional Microscopy Services and Carol Gariepy are not responsible for products purchased through this site that are held at or confiscated by your custom's office. Parcels returned by your country's custom's office will be refunded less total postage costs (original shipping fees and returned shipping fees). Parcels confiscated by your country's custom's office will not be reimbursed. To minimize the chance of products being held or confiscated by a foreign Custom's Office, we recommend that you contact your custom's office.
